Because of the Persecution upon the FLDS People, This blog was started after the children in Texas were kidnapped in 2008. It was written for those who did not want to hate the FLDS People, but sought understanding. It was not written for the FLDS People, or for those who already hate or do want to hate the FLDS religion and our leaders. I do not write here anymore, but I leave it up (for now) as a reference for others.

She don't look fourteen to me. And she is certainly older than the picture the trib put up.
I see - because she enjoyed one afternoon on a horse doesn't mean that her entire life was roses.
Yes, none of our lives are entirely roses. But what's really amazing is how bad her past life suddenly became when she was begged/bribed into becoming a "victim."
Children who are abused, sexually, mentally, or otherwise, are still capable of having enjoyable moments. It comes from the remarkable ability of the human brain to "disassociate" from painful memories and events. Finding pictures of Elissa smiling or having a happy moment does not change the fact that she was married to someone she didn't want to marry when she was too young to consent. Nor does it change the fact that Allen admitted to having sex with her after she had asked him not to.
Sort of like the remarkable ability of the human brain to "disassociate" reality from what your puppetmaster begs you to pretend happened. Sometimes it takes money and friends to manufacture a pseudo-reality to fit the purpose at hand. Good acting skills help too.
The only FACT that Rebeckah shows is that she was "brainwashed" into believing fiction.
The nonsense Elissa (and other bitter ex-wives) spouts does not change the TRUTH that she did NOT marry against her will, she made that up later (with alot of help)after she changed her mind and wanted someone who would party with her. She very likely sewed the matching clothing she and Allen were wearing in this video.
It is also a fact that she was NOT under the age of consent. That is a fact that many would like to be untrue, but it is still true just the same. They were married in 2001 in Nevada.
And finally it is a matter of FACT that Allen never forced himself on her, let alone admit to it. That is a lie that you have been "brainwashed" into believing as well.

Nice video pliggy. It is surreal to see all the townsfolk in short creek enjoying a parade, with the rapist and his "victim" riding horses and smiling to the crowds with everyone having a good time; as opposed to the evil and wicked hell hole potrayed by the bigots and apostate narrative. I hope you guys resume having parades and social activites in the future. Those are the hallmarks of a vibrant community.
I was told as a child by a veteran horseman that zebras were untrainable and couldn't be ridden. Another myth blasted!
